Heavy Bags

Every boxing gym has punching bags. Hanging bags are the type most widely used. You can find various lengths and weights to match individual specializations and specific training types, designed primarily for either punches or kicks. Other advantages of heavy bags include being able to use their motion for training drills: You can use them to train for movement, as in partner training, using double blocks, or slips to escape from the specific technique of an opponent’s line of attack.

We recommend using hand wraps and 16 Oz sparring gloves for intense heavy bag workouts. The additional padding will protect your fists and the added weight will provide better conditioning. If not otherwise indicated, all our heavy bags come filled with a special mix of pressure filled content.
