Important Notes for Different Boxing Gloves
Please note that boxing gloves are not all identical, and the material composition may vary from one manufacturer to another. Therefore, always check the product description for specific material and construction details.
The internal size of the glove is consistent across all types, and the fit depends on the manufacturer, whether they design the gloves to be tighter or looser. The weight in ounces (oz) refers to the glove’s weight and, by extension, the padding size.
Description:
- Always wrap your hands properly before using the gloves to ensure maximum protection and prevent injury.
- Perform a quick inspection of the gloves before each use to check for any visible damage or signs of wear.
- Putting on Gloves: Slide your hands into the gloves, ensuring the thumb fits securely.
- Identifying Left and Right Gloves: The design and stitching will indicate whether the glove is for the left or right hand.
- Securing the Gloves: Tighten the velcro strap or lace up the gloves, ensuring they are snug but not too tight, allowing for full range of movement and comfort.
Storage and Longevity:
- Storage: Store the gloves in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight or high temperatures. Avoid leaving them in a hot car or damp areas.
-
Damage: If you notice any significant damage or a decrease in performance (e.g., loose stitching, worn-out padding), it is recommended to replace the gloves to maintain safety and comfort.
